District Chief Executive(DCE) of Asutifi South District,Honourable Benjamin Assabil Donkor is reaffirming commitment to making education better as a lasting legacy which will transcend his tenure.
Honourable Benjamin Assabil Donkor underscored the benefit of training young minds for the betterment of Ghana’s future hence emphasizing his resolve.
To show committment, the DCE who doubles as the Dean for Metropolitan Municipal District Chief Executives in the Ahafo Region had embarked on renovation exercises to all education infrastructure that were not fit- for purpose.
At the moment, the DCE has commenced supply of logistics and stationary to schools within the district in a bid to aid teaching and learning across the district.
In an interview with the media in parliament recently, Mr. Assabil Donkor noted that he is collaborating with the Director of Education to launch teachers and students award scheme to enhance quality teaching and learning in the district.
He concluded by reaffirming his pledge to lead the district with utmost respect, diligence and humility in order to achieve solid foundation for the future.
