Boakye Agyarko Calls for Unity and Grassroots Reconnection in Meeting with Northern Regional Elders

Aspiring National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hon. Boakye Agyarko, has underscored the need for unity, reconciliation, and renewed grassroots engagement as the Party works towards reclaiming power in the 2028 general elections.

Speaking during a meeting with the Northern Regional Council of Elders and Patrons as part of his ongoing stakeholder consultations, Hon. Agyarko acknowledged the concerns and frustrations of many party members across all levels of the Party’s structure.

He stressed the importance of reconnecting with the grassroots, listening to members, offering apologies where necessary, and fostering a collective spirit aimed at rebuilding confidence and strengthening the Party.

He further appealed to the Council of Elders and Patrons to play a more proactive role in promoting unity and addressing the growing indiscipline that continues to hinder the Party’s progress and effectiveness.

Hon. Agyarko assured the gathering that, if elected National Chairman, he would place significant value on the wisdom, experience, and counsel of the Party’s elders at every level.

He noted that their guidance would be instrumental in resolving internal disputes, strengthening cohesion, and preserving the Party’s core values.

Reaffirming his commitment to the Party’s electoral success, Hon. Agyarko pledged to work closely with the NPP’s Flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, to secure a resounding victory in the 2028 general elections.

He concluded by expressing his sincere appreciation to the Northern Regional Council of Elders and Patrons for their warm reception, valuable insights, and continued dedication to the growth and unity of the Party.
