Experienced Youth Activist Pledges Inclusive Leadership and Stronger Grassroots Mobilization
Madina Constituency youth leader Wisdom Akorlor, popularly known as Seth Terkper, has officially announced his intention to contest for the position of Deputy Youth Organizer, pledging to bring experienced, servant-centered leadership to the constituency’s youth wing.
In a statement addressed to branch youth organizers, Akorlor said the time had come for him to offer himself for higher responsibility after more than two decades of dedicated service to the Youth Wing in the Madina Constituency.
He currently serves as the 2nd Deputy Youth Organizer.
According to him, his years of active involvement in youth mobilization and party organization have equipped him with the experience and leadership skills needed to effectively serve in the role.
“I believe that there is a time and season for everything under the sun. The time has come for me to present myself for the position of Deputy Youth Organizer,” he stated.
Akorlor highlighted his commitment, dedication, teamwork, and results-oriented approach, noting that these qualities have defined his service over the years and have been witnessed firsthand by youth organizers across the constituency.
He emphasized that his ambition is rooted in service rather than authority, promising to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to strengthen the youth wing.
“I am ready to serve, not to lord over you,” he said. “Together, we will make the Youth Wing of Madina the most vibrant and attractive in the constituency—one that draws more young people into our party, including youth from other political parties.”
The aspiring Deputy Youth Organizer stressed the importance of unity and grassroots engagement in achieving electoral success, arguing that strong membership growth and cohesion are essential for winning elections.
Akorlor concluded by appealing for the support of branch youth organizers, assuring them that he would be a servant leader who prioritizes the welfare and aspirations of young party members.
“Numbers matter in politics, and unity wins elections. I count on your valuable support. I am ready to be a servant leader, not a dictator,” he stated.
