He made this statement during the Eid-ul-Fitr celebration at the Black Star Square in Accra, a national event of unity, peace, and progress for all Ghanaians, regardless of their religious or cultural backgrounds.

President Mahama’s speech focused on the main priorities of his administration: education, healthcare, job creation, and infrastructure development.

These areas are crucial for long-term national growth and for improving the living conditions of everyday Ghanaians.

By focusing on these key sectors, the president envisions a society where opportunities are plentiful, allowing every citizen to contribute to the country’s development and share in its success.

The president also spoke about the importance of social inclusivity.

Mr. Mahama said he wants to build a nation where everyone, irrespective of religion, ethnicity, or social standing, will get the same chance to succeed and improve their lives.

This vision promotes national unity and social harmony, where the country’s success benefits all its citizens.

President Mahama made it clear that his commitment to these goals is sincere. He emphasized that his plans are not temporary or driven by politics, but are part of a long-term vision for the country’s growth and development.

“This is a promise to ensure that Ghana remains a symbol of hope and opportunity in West Africa, aiming for greater prosperity and inclusiveness,” he stated.

Additionally, Mr. Mahama’s vision for prosperity and unity reflects his focus on creating a society where people from all walks of life—whether from urban or rural areas—can contribute to and benefit from the nation’s progress.
