Madina MCE Pledges Expanded Partnerships to Drive Major Development Projects

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the La Nkwantanang–Madina Municipal Assembly, Hon. Ibrahim Faila Fuseini, has reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to mobilising additional resources to improve the lives of residents in Madina.

He disclosed that development partners have indicated their readiness to reconsider and support a proposed large-scale project, which he described as a “big and ambitious dream” with the potential to bring significant benefits to the municipality.

Given the capital-intensive nature of the project, Hon. Fuseini said the Assembly will soon convene meetings with key stakeholders, including the Minister for Local Government and the Regional Minister, to ensure broad institutional support.

“The involvement of these stakeholders is critical to enable the project to be implemented on behalf of His Excellency, John Dramani Mahama,” he stated.

The MCE noted that donor partners have been encouraged by what he described as the clear vision and developmental direction of the former President, prompting them to align their efforts with government-led initiatives.

He emphasized that although government remains the principal driver and ultimate beneficiary of national development projects, sustainable progress requires collaboration.

“Government operates on a very large scale and cannot do it alone. That is why we must continue to think outside the box, remain innovative, and work with partners to deliver meaningful development for the people of Ghana,” he said.

Hon. Fuseini assured residents that the Assembly’s development agenda remains on course, adding that more projects are currently in the pipeline.

“Madina will continue to set the pace. We must be pacesetters for others to emulate, and I will continue to lead in a way that encourages other assemblies to attract development and improve the lives of their people,” he concluded.
