According to police sources, the incident occurred on 18 January 2026, when two armed men attacked a private residence in Kwabenya. During the robbery, the assailants made away with two iPhone 17 Pro Max mobile phones, a gold necklace, an Apple Watch, GHΒ’14,000.00 in cash, a car key, and US$300.

The attackers also compelled the victim to log out of his iCloud account on one of the stolen devices.
Following intelligence-led surveillance operations, police arrested Francis Amo, also known as Agogo, Anthony Boateng, popularly called Aisha Kojo, and Musah Ibrahim, known as Coded.
Investigators believe Musah Ibrahim acted as a receiver of some of the stolen items. The suspects are currently assisting police with investigations.

A subsequent search conducted at the residence of suspect Anthony Boateng led to the recovery of several offensive weapons, including a truncheon, a short machete, knives, scissors, lighters, and a face shield.

The suspects remain in police custody as investigations continue. Police say efforts are underway to recover the remaining stolen items and to apprehend any other individuals linked to the robbery.
