Following a February 4, 2026 _Daily Analyst_ publication highlighting the plight of a 45-year-old bedridden farmer, the Member of Parliament for Sunyani West, Hon. Millicent Amankwah Yeboah, has donated a brand new wheelchair to support his mobility.
The wheelchair was presented on behalf of the MP by the Parliamentary Correspondents of Daily Analyst and HomeBaseTV, Prosper Kwaku Selassy Agbitor and Stephen Owusu Kwarteng respectively.
It was received by Madam Leticia Mawangi of Nungua in the Krowor Municipality, who conveyed it to the beneficiary, Mr. Charles Tseado, in Hohoe in the Volta Region.
Hon. Amankwah Yeboah, who could not attend due to another important engagement, said she was touched by Mr. Tseado’s condition and expressed the hope that the wheelchair would help him regain independence instead of relying entirely on assistance.
Mr. Tseado, who appeared frail and unwell, said he has no family to support him and urgently needs medical treatment.
Before his condition, he cultivated crops in the Hohoe North District.
Narrating his ordeal, the peasant farmer said he suddenly got paralysed after returning from the farm and has since been unable to fend for himself.
“A chamber pot has been my only solace whenever nature calls,” he stated.
In addition to the wheelchair, Mr. Tseado is appealing for a mattress, the construction of a bathroom in his room, and financial support for feeding and medical care.
He said with the wheelchair, he hopes to engage in petty trading to reduce his dependence on others.
The farmer expressed heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Amankwah Yeboah and prayed for God’s continued blessings on her and all those who will come to his aid.
