Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang is confirmed to be in optimal health and is currently taking a brief rest in the United Kingdom, as confirmed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Minister of State in charge of Government Communications.
In a recent televised interview on Channel One TV, Kwakye Ofosu reassured the public about the Vice President’s well-being, stating:
“She is in good health and is taking a short break, as recommended by her medical team. She is expected to return to her official duties shortly.”

His comments come amid growing speculation about her absence from recent public appearances.
The Vice President’s health has been a topic of interest, especially given her pivotal role as Ghana’s first female Vice President.
Despite the rumors surrounding her absence, government officials, including Foreign Affairs Minister, Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, have consistently assured the public that her break was due to medical advice, and she is not facing any major health issues.
Mr. Ofosu’s statements aim to put to rest any concerns, emphasizing that her return to official duties is imminent.
