Sylvester Sowah, the 27-year-old man who allegedly killed his girlfriend because she threatened to jilt him over his smoking habit at Obuase Abompe in the Ashanti Region has been arrested.
The deceased, Charlotte Obeng, AKA Biggest Abena is said to have told Sylvester she was fed up inhaling marijuana smoke which was affecting her health.
Later, around 10pm that day, Abena was found dead in the suspect’s room.
He reportedly went into hiding after committing the crime.
He was arrested at Kyekyewere barrier when he made an attempt to board a car to a different location.
Sylvester however has since denied he was responsible for the act.
