Madina MP’s Office Reaffirms Commitment to Youth Empowerment at International Youth Fellowship Graduation

The Office of the Member of Parliament for Madina has reiterated its dedication to advancing youth development within the constituency during an engagement with graduates of the International Youth Fellowship (IYF).

The interaction took place at a graduation ceremony held in Madina, where young participants were celebrated for successfully completing various personal development and leadership training programmes under the IYF.

Representing the MP, Bright Makafui delivered a message of encouragement, commending the graduates for their perseverance, discipline, and willingness to invest in their personal growth.

He highlighted the significance of the skills acquired through the IYF programme—such as leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, and community service—which are essential assets for young people navigating today’s rapidly evolving socio-economic environment.

Makafui emphasised that the MP’s office recognises the transformative potential of such youth-focused initiatives and remains committed to collaborating with organisations like IYF to advance opportunities for young constituents.

He assured the graduates that the MP will continue championing programmes and policies aimed at empowering young people through education, entrepreneurship, mentorship, and skills development.

He further stressed that youth empowerment is central to the MP’s broader vision for a more resilient and prosperous Madina.

According to him, ongoing efforts are being made to expand access to capacity-building programmes, strengthen support systems for young entrepreneurs, and cultivate platforms that nurture leadership and civic responsibility among the youth.

The ceremony concluded with an optimistic call to action, urging the graduates to apply their newly acquired knowledge to positively impact their communities and contribute meaningfully to the development of Madina and beyond.
