Cynthia Akans has been appointed Deputy Managing Director of Atinka TV, a key outlet under the Tobinco Media Group.
The broadcaster, known for her prowess on screen presence and long service in the industry, joins Atinka TV after five years with Ignite Media’s Original TV. She officially assumed her new role on December 1, 2025.
Akans brings twelve years of experience to the position.
She has worked with several notable media organisations including TV Africa, Angel TV and Ignite Media’s Original TV, where she served as both presenter and editor.
Her appointment is seen as part of Tobinco Media Group’s effort to strengthen leadership across its media brands.
The group operates Atinka FM, Atinka TV, Ahoto FM, Agyenkwa FM and Bullet TV.
