George Krobea Asante Applauds NPP for Peaceful and Credible Presidential Election

Deputy National Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Youth Organiser hopeful, George Krobea Asante, has commended the leadership of the party, particularly the Presidential Elections Committee, for what he described as an outstanding performance in the conduct of the party’s presidential election.

According to Mr. Asante, organizing an incident-free election under prevailing political conditions is a significant achievement that underscores the NPP’s strong commitment to democratic values. 

He described the process as peaceful, transparent, free, and fair, adding that it stands as the best presidential election ever conducted in Ghana.

Mr. Asante noted that the successful conduct of the election once again highlights the NPP’s leadership in internal democracy and its ability to set standards worthy of emulation by other political parties. 

He also praised the various aspirants for demonstrating maturity, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the electoral process, which he said contributed greatly to the overall success of the exercise.

He further congratulated the President-elect of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, on his victory, describing it as a sweet and well-deserved win for the New Patriotic Party. 

Mr. Asante emphasized the need for unity within the party as it prepares for the next phase of national leadership.

Sharing reactions from across the political divide, Mr. Krobea Asante revealed that feedback following the election has been overwhelmingly positive. 

He disclosed that several NPP supporters who were previously disenchanted have reached out to express their readiness to rejoin the party’s efforts toward securing victory in the 2028 general elections.

He added that even supporters of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) have congratulated the NPP for the transparent and orderly manner in which the presidential election was conducted. 

Mr. Asante urged party members to continue projecting unity and strength to the Ghanaian public, stressing that the true spirit of the NPP lies in its collective strength and unity.
