Actress Patricia Osei Boateng has reportedly been arrested by police in connection with ongoing investigations into a series of armed robbery cases linked to her late husband, Eric Duku.
According to reports, Osei Boateng is alleged to have assisted Duku in evading police checks by disguising herself as a nurse during some of his movements.
Investigators believe the alleged ruse enabled him to bypass security scrutiny while operating across multiple regions.
Duku is said to have led a robbery syndicate implicated in car snatching and violent robbery incidents in the Ashanti, Bono, and Western regions.
He was shot and killed during an exchange of gunfire with police following one of the alleged robberies.
Police intensified their search for Osei Boateng after arresting four suspects in connection with the murder of Andrews Amankwa, who was fatally shot during a robbery attack at Ohwim Tigo Junction in Kumasi.
Authorities say investigations remain ongoing to determine the full extent of the network’s operations and any potential accomplices. Police have not yet disclosed further details but indicate that the suspect is assisting with inquiries.
