Two Suspected Robbers Shot After Alleged Attempted Attack on Appeals Court Judge

Two young suspected armed robbers have been shot after allegedly attempting to break into the residence of an Appeals Court judge and attack him.

The suspects, identified as 23-year-old Patrick Alor and 21-year-old Akwasi Gyamfi, are reported to have scaled the fence of the judge’s residence while armed with machetes.

According to preliminary information, the two allegedly targeted the judge’s private vehicle before confronting a police officer who was on guard duty at the premises.

Sources indicate that the suspects attempted to disarm the officer during the confrontation.

In response, the officer reportedly opened fire in what authorities describe as an act of self-defence.

Both men sustained gunshot wounds and were subsequently transported to a medical facility for treatment. Their current condition has not yet been officially disclosed.

Police have launched investigations into the incident to establish the full circumstances surrounding the attempted robbery and shooting.
