Mrs. Naomi Oyoe Ohene Oti, the 2025 recipient of the esteemed Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award, has formally presented her award to the President and members of the National Executive Committee (NEC) during a courtesy visit.
Mrs. Ohene Oti, a distinguished oncology nurse specialist, earned the global honor for her groundbreaking contributions to cancer care in Ghana and across Africa.

She was selected from over 100,000 nominees worldwide and received the award at a high-profile ceremony in Dubai.
Her work has been instrumental in reshaping cancer treatment in the region, particularly through the creation of Africa’s first formal oncology nursing training program.

This initiative has significantly strengthened the capacity of the healthcare system to provide specialized cancer care, improving outcomes for countless patients.
