Sonnie Badu Urges Prophets to Exercise Caution Over VP’s Health Prophecies

Renowned Ghanaian gospel musician Mr. Sonnie Badu has urged prophets to exercise caution when sharing prophecies, particularly regarding the health of Ghana’s Vice President, Prof. Jane Nana Opoku Agyeman.

His comments come in the wake of recent revelations made by some prophets concerning her condition.

Taking to social media, the celebrated music minister expressed concern over the way some prophets deliver their messages.

“Dear major and minor prophets, there is something called the word of wisdom, which means that whatever you see, you should speak with wisdom,” he wrote.

He warned that publicizing negative prophecies can create unnecessary panic, adding, “The people you mention have families, and such prophecies bring fear.”

Mr. Badu emphasized the emotional toll such statements can have on individuals and their families.

“I’ve seen prophets lose family members, and witnessing their devastation gives you an understanding of how painful such losses can be,” he said.

The gospel artist also reminded prophets of their true calling.

“Prophesying someone’s death does not make you powerful; it makes you a prophet of doom,” he stated.

He went on to stress the importance of offering redemption alongside revelation, asserting, “Once there is revelation, there must also be redemption… Revelation without redemption is not from God.”

Turning his attention to Vice President Agyeman, Mr. Badu offered his heartfelt prayers and well-wishes: “Mummy, Prof. Jane Nana Opoku Agyeman, get well soon.

” He also urged her to take time to rest, acknowledging the tireless efforts she put in during the campaign. The truth is, you gave your all during the campaign and haven’t rested. I am praying for you. Love you loads, Mummy,” he concluded.
