A 20-year-old woman, Maame Adwoa has allegedly stabbed to death an 18-year-old girl, Maame Akua in a fight at Ahwerewam near Mankranso in the Ashanti Region.
Adwoa is said to have committed the act after Akua confronted her for insulting her mother.
The incident happened on November 10, 2025 after Adwoa slapped Akua during the altercation and further reached out for scissors from her bag to stab the deceased in her neck leading to her death.
The suspect has since been arrested while the deceased has been deposited at Bechem Hospital.
The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
