Member of Parliament for Madina, Hon. Francis-Xavier Sosu, has been honored with a prestigious award at the African Public Service Optimum Awards 2025, in recognition of his exemplary leadership and commitment to grassroots development.

He received the accolade in the category of Excellence in Constituency Advocacy and Grassroots Development, celebrating his tireless efforts to uplift communities and champion infrastructural improvement within his constituency.

The award underscores Hon. Sosu’s unwavering dedication to meaningful development in Madina, particularly his ongoing advocacy for the rehabilitation of the area’s deteriorating road network—a long-standing concern among residents.

In a message of gratitude to the people of Madina, Hon. Sosu reaffirmed his determination to translate this recognition into even greater service.

He disclosed that ten critical roads within the constituency have already been submitted to the Ministry of Roads and Highways for urgent rehabilitation this year.

“The contractor is expected to commence work on-site shortly, bringing much-anticipated relief to the community,” he assured.

Hon. Sosu emphasized that while road restoration remains a top priority, his broader vision for Madina extends to sustainable development and inclusive growth across all sectors.

With renewed commitment following this continental recognition, he pledged to continue advocating for policies and projects that will ensure Madina’s steady progress and prosperity.
