The AIM Ghana Foundation, in collaboration with the National Peace Council of Ghana, has officially opened nominations for the Global Peace Ambassadors Awards & NGOs Conference 2026.
The awards aim to recognize individuals and organizations making outstanding contributions to peacebuilding, humanitarian service, and community development across Ghana.
In a statement announcing the call for entries, organizers said the platform is designed to celebrate Peace Ambassadors, Changemakers, NGOs, Community Impact Groups, Humanitarian Advocates, Activists, Youth and Women Leaders, and other individuals driving positive change in society.
“The goal is to shine a light on those who are quietly working to build peace, promote unity, and improve lives in their communities,” the statement noted.
The 2026 edition of the awards and conference will be held on Wednesday, 23rd December 2026 at the National Theatre Exhibition Hall, Accra.
According to the organizers, both self-nominations and nominations of deserving individuals and organizations are welcome.

The AIM Ghana Foundation said the awards will also serve as a networking platform for NGOs and peace actors to share ideas, forge partnerships, and strengthen collaboration for sustainable development.

The Global Peace Ambassadors Awards has over the years honored individuals and groups whose work has contributed to peace, social cohesion, and humanitarian impact in Ghana.
