Aspiring New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Chairman, Hon. Boakye Agyarko, has intensified his nationwide stakeholder engagement tour with a visit to the Bono East Region, where he called on party leaders and grassroots members to unite, reconcile, and work together to rebuild the party ahead of the 2028 general elections.
As part of his nationwide consultations with party stakeholders, Hon. Boakye Agyarko met with the Bono East Regional Council of Elders and Patrons, Regional Executives, Constituency Executives, and other key party stakeholders to outline his vision for repositioning the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for electoral victory.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Agyarko stressed that unity and reconciliation must form the foundation of the party’s rebuilding efforts.
He said the NPP’s journey back to power depends on healing internal divisions, restoring trust among members, and fostering an inclusive environment where every party member feels valued.
He urged party faithful to put past disagreements behind them, forgive one another, and place the collective interests of the NPP above personal differences as the party begins preparations for the 2028 general elections.

Beyond party unity, Mr. Agyarko identified member welfare as a key pillar of his campaign for the national chairmanship.
He acknowledged the dedication and sacrifices of party executives, polling station officers, and grassroots activists whose efforts, he noted, have sustained the NPP over the years.
He pledged to champion practical welfare programmes to recognise commitment, reward loyal service, and improve support for party officers and members at all levels.

Mr. Agyarko also expressed appreciation to the Bono East Regional leadership, Council of Elders and Patrons, Constituency Executives, and grassroots supporters for what he described as a warm reception and meaningful engagement.
He reaffirmed his commitment to leading a united, disciplined, and formidable NPP capable of returning to power in the 2028 elections.
