According to reports, a group of seven armed and masked assailants launched a violent attack on unsuspecting miners, wielding cutlasses to inflict fear and injury.
During this horrifying incident, they made off with significant quantities of gold concentrate as well as several mobile phones, leaving the victims shaken and traumatized.
In response to this alarming crime, law enforcement agencies have initiated an extensive manhunt to track down the remaining accomplices, who are still at large.
