Despite governance challenges, the Kintampo North Member of Parliament,Honourable Joseph Kwame Kumah strongly believes that the John Dramani Mahama reset agenda is on course.
According to the legislator,the performance of the government is evident in the reduction in prices in cement,rice and other products.
The MP was speaking in an exclusive interview with Daily Analyst disclosed that cement prices, the Kintampo North MP popularly known as “Jakala” disclosed that used to be sold at Ghs115.00 is currently going for Ghs70 or a little above that based on distance.
He also said the prudent management of the economy has led to the reduction in the price of rice stressing that the government had put much money into pocket of Ghanaians.
Honourable Kumah referenced the price of weedicide known as “condemn” now being sold at Ghs 35.00 from then Ghs50.00 or Ghs55.00 relieving farmers resulting in reduction of food prices.
Hon. Joseph Kwame Kumah strongly believes that the government’s sterling performance has engineered an influx of Ghanaians in the diaspora and foreigners in the country acknowledging that the government cannot fulfil all promises in its first year.
He is upbeat about government’s to payment of eurobond and other debts owed entrenched the country’s credibility.
