Gov’t Slashes Cost of Health Training Admission Forms by GH₵50

The Ministry of Health has announced a reduction in the cost of application forms for admission into health training institutions across Ghana, lowering the price from GH₵200 to GH₵150 for the 2025/2026 academic year.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry, the sale of application forms will officially begin on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, and will run until Thursday, June 19, 2025.

The cost reduction is part of the Ministry’s effort to improve access and affordability for prospective students nationwide. It is expected to ease the financial burden on applicants and their families, while supporting broader goals of equity and increased enrolment in health education.

The Ministry further advised that only GCB Bank PLC and the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) are authorised to sell the forms. Prospective applicants are urged to take note and ensure they purchase from the approved institutions.
