The Founder and Leader of Jesus Is Alive Prayer Ministry, Prophet Nakoa Isaac, has criticised some men of God who he says issue unnecessary prophecies during 31st night services, describing the practice as a tactic used to instil fear and extort money from church members.
Speaking in an interview with Nana Antwi Boasiako, Prophet Nakoa Isaac explained that prophecy itself is not contrary to Christianity or the will of God, but rather the manner in which it is delivered that raises concern.
According to him, as the world transitions into 2026, many pastors organise 31st night crossover services and release numerous prophecies aimed at frightening congregants into giving money.
“As we enter a new year, most pastors prophesy into the lives of their church members, yet none of these prophecies come to pass because they are fake and only meant to extort money,” he stated.
Prophet Nakoa Isaac argued that such prophecies amount to mind games and have no positive impact on the lives of Christians, apart from enriching pastors at the expense of their congregations.
He further noted that many Christians receive prophecies year after year without seeing any results, which he believes exposes the lack of authenticity behind such declarations.
“You receive prophecies every year, yet they never come true. Sometimes you struggle to afford food, while your pastor drives a V8 vehicle and you remain poor. And you still believe those prophecies are genuine? Christians must wake up,” he said.
Prophet Nakoa Isaac urged Christians to remain vigilant, engage in personal prayer, and avoid relying solely on prophecies from men of God.
He also encouraged believers to pray and seek discernment over any prophecy spoken into their lives.
