A gruesome incident has rocked the Offinso Achiase community in the Ashanti Region, leaving three family members dead.
The victims were killed on Monday, February 16, 2026, following a family dispute that turned violent.
According to eyewitnesses, a 21-year-old man with a history of mental illness stabbed butchered biological mother to death after a short misunderstanding.
The act was met with anger from one of his brothers, Kofi, who confronted him, but was overpowered and killed by the 21-year-old.
The suspect was later killed by unknown assailants, reportedly in retaliation for the deaths of his mother and brother.
The police have been informed and are investigating the matter.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, with residents calling for increased security measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
