Madina MP Kick Start Madina Polyclinic Expansion to Boost Free Primary Healthcare Access

Over 10,000 residents in Madina and surrounding communities are expected to benefit from improved healthcare delivery as work progresses to complete key facilities at the Madina Polyclinic.

Hon. Dr. Francis Xavier Sosu, Member of Parliament for the Madina Constituency, has launched a major intervention to complete critical infrastructure at the Madina Polyclinic, located at Rawlings Circle.

The project, being undertaken through his Sosu Health Project, includes the construction and completion of male and female wards, consulting rooms, and administrative offices.

The initiative aims to expand access to quality primary healthcare for more than 10,000 residents in Madina and its environs.

Once completed, the upgraded facility is expected to ease congestion, improve patient care, and create a more efficient and supportive environment for healthcare workers.

Dr. Sosu described the project as a transformative step toward ensuring free and accessible primary healthcare, noting that it aligns with broader efforts to meet international standards in community health delivery.

He stressed that eliminating barriers to essential healthcare services remains a central focus of his leadership and the Sosu Health Project.

“This initiative is a major step toward ensuring that residents can access free and reliable primary healthcare without unnecessary obstacles,” he said.

The Sosu Health Project continues to implement practical, community-driven interventions to enhance residents’ well-being, with the expansion of the Madina Polyclinic representing a significant milestone in that mission.

Also speaking on the project, the Deputy CEO of the Sosu Health Project, Hon. Lovelace, reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring its successful completion.

He emphasized the team’s determination to meet the healthcare needs of the people of Madina and to champion the delivery of free primary healthcare across the municipality.
