National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has commissioned two new zonal party offices in Goripie and Manwe, aiming to deepen the party’s grassroots machinery in the Wa East Constituency.
The ceremonies, held during his ongoing nationwide _Thank You Tour_, drew enthusiastic party supporters.
The tour is intended to appreciate loyal members while consolidating NDC structures ahead of future political activities.

Asiedu Nketiah praised Wa East MP Dr. Godfred Seidu Jasaw for spearheading the construction of the offices.
He said the facilities demonstrate the NDC’s “growing footprint and long-term commitment” to the constituency, adding that physical infrastructure is key to sustained political organization.
“The new zonal offices will serve as operational hubs for coordination, mobilization, and engagement,” the National Chairman told party members.
“By decentralizing from the constituency office, we make the party more accessible and responsive to communities in Goripie, Manwe, and surrounding areas.”
Party leaders say the move is part of a wider NDC strategy to reinforce grassroots structures nationwide.

The offices are expected to streamline campaign planning, improve communication with members, and boost voter outreach in Wa East, a constituency the party considers strategic.
The commissioning signals both gratitude for past support and preparation for the political work ahead, officials added.
