GES Clears Outstanding Feeding Grants for Special Schools, Settles Perishables for SHS and SHTS

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has disbursed all outstanding feeding grants owed to Special Schools, along with payments for perishables supplied to Senior High Schools (SHS) and Senior High Technical Schools (SHTS) nationwide.

This was announced in a statement dated December 12, 2025, and signed by the Head of Public Relations, Mr. Daniel Fenyi.

The release covers feeding grants for the 3rd Term of the 2024/2025 academic year and the 1st Term of the 2025/2026 academic year for Special Schools.

Additionally, GES confirmed that arrears for perishables supplied to SHS and SHTS between July 29 and October 17, 2025, have been fully settled.

All corresponding transfers have been credited to the accounts of beneficiary institutions across the country.

The Service has directed heads of institutions to acknowledge receipt through their respective Regional Accountants.

GES emphasized its continued commitment to strengthening teaching, learning, and inclusive education, and called for the cooperation of heads of schools to ensure the smooth execution of its education support interventions.
