Police have launched a manhunt for Patricia Osei Boateng, the wife of a suspected armed robbery gang leader known as Duku, over her alleged involvement in a series of violent crimes.
According to law enforcement sources, Duku was fatally shot during an exchange of gunfire with police following a robbery incident that investigators say was connected to the death of Mr. Amankwa, who has been publicly identified as the father-in-law of Sammy Gyamfi.
Authorities have not yet released full details of the robbery or the circumstances surrounding Mr. Amankwa’s death, but say investigations remain ongoing.
Police allege that Patricia Osei Boateng played a supporting role in several operations carried out by the group.
She is suspected of posing as a nurse to help Duku evade security checks and police detection during certain movements.
Investigators believe the disguise allowed the suspect to bypass scrutiny in the aftermath of some robberies.
In addition, authorities report that Patricia traveled to Dubai shortly after some of the alleged criminal incidents, a development they say forms part of their ongoing investigations into the gang’s activities and possible attempts to avoid arrest.
Law enforcement officials have urged the public to assist with credible information that could lead to her arrest.
They emphasize that she remains a suspect and that investigations are continuing to establish the full extent of her alleged involvement.
Police say further updates will be provided as the case develops.
